Front Bumper irons retro fitting help..

Hi all, just getting the front of the car back together and the wings I have dont seem to have any locators or support brackets for the handles. I dont have a datum point at the bottom either as Im guessing I'll need to fabricate a bracket to fix it to the bumper. Would anybody with these fitted be willing to take a photo showing the approx location on the inner wing & if possible take a measurement it looks like it butts up somewhere between the 2 forward facing wing bolts? Ive also bought a towing eye which looks like it has to have holes drilled just wondered if anybody has fitted one and could confirm before I drill holes unnecessarily? Thanks in advance

The lower edge of the "love handle" is fitted on the outer bumper mounting bolt by an "L" shaped bracket. Fit and adjust the bumper, fabricate the brackets (easy) and fit the handles. Adjust them so that the whole pressed section is inside the wing-bonnet gap, just as on your photo. Then open the bonnet, mark the hole position and drill the fixing holes. They were originally fitted by studs welded on the wing.
