Hi all. Back from my maintenance trip to France. Got Ronnie out of his lair and took him to Grizzly. A real car place full of bits, people with oily hands, and very friendly. Chap to speak to is Pascal. Speaks English, young, very helpful and enthusiastic. Huge spares cache. About 20 R4 cars and Vans in his yard. I got some bits i needed.
He changed the oil and filter, and flushed the cooling system through, which it badly needed, plus welded the failed hinge, and sprayed it. Spent a lot of time with me, sorting bits out. I got the cupped washer that go's under the nut on the wiper shaft, and the s shaped exhaust pipe, 2nd hand ( but with a label still on and no rust) For me in darkest france he is a god send. About 25k away, but a nice drive. All of you in striking distance, I recommend him. Some snaps to follow shortly.
