Gutter repair/re-fabrication

Well worth a bit of paint and sealant on that drain channel at the back of the roof - they are a pain to repair so best to preserve them as well as possible.

Hey, guess what? That's actually the worst part on the car! Around the gutter/roof join at the back is rotten. The roof will be easy enough to weld, but I was wondering what to do with the gutter? Any ideas? BTW, I'll copy and paste this into a relevant section.

The gutter is a pain. Last one I did I just chopped a section out of a scrap car and welded it in.

Didn't quite go far enough and left a little rot in the seam at the front of the repair which is starting to cause trouble now.

It's the seam that causes the trouble - needs to be cleaned of rust and properly sealed.

Could you post a photo of yours.
