A very Happy New Year to all you 4L fans out there from Marigold and I. Looking forward to meeting up with friends old and new at Thenay in July.

I'm thinking on going to Reims in March to the auto jumble to see if I can pick up some Dauphine panels, am I rjight in saying that Thenay is in July ?
 
I can thoroughly recommend the 4L International weekend at Thenay Stan, it's a brilliant gathering of the marque. There's always a small contingent from the UK, so you would be in good company, and our hosts are very welcoming. Whether you camp or b&b/hotel, you'll have a great time.

Funnily enough, we saw a foreign R4 in Wales yesterday, but as we were driving (not in our 4 though) we couldn't see which country it was from. It was light blue.

I hope you get to make it to Thenay Stan, and Jonathan, do you reckon there will be a Kent gathering this year? It would be nice, because it's a beautiful part of the country to visit. Perhaps Becky could let us know if it is on this year.
 
I'm hoping I can get to the Kent Run this year too. Depends if its on and when though. Also, I noticed the ROC are having their event at Bewl Water in Kent the week after Thenay which I wouldn't mind going to.
 
We went to the Bewl Water event last time David, it was a good day out in beautiful surroundings. Can't make it this year though as I'll still be in France chasing le Tour up the mountains.
 
Hi Brian, Im planning a cycling trip with a disabled friend from `Breda the Netherlands to Santiago de Compostella. Its 2200 km so I need most of my Holiday days to complete the trip.
I'll try to get a few days off for Thenay but I'm not counting on anything. But Maybe the Kent Run will be possible
l'll be in touch when I know more.
 
Hi Robert, wow, that's quite a trip by bicycle, but what an achievement when you get to end of it. I can imagine its going to take a while to complete it, but if you make Thenay that would be great.
I'm hoping that Becky(aka Mrs Renospeed) who organises the Kent Run will let us know as soon as she can if it's on this year. It would be good if you come and join us in the Garden of England.

Happy New Year everybody, hope you had a good one. To answer your question- yes, I am planning a Kent get together probably the 1st May bank holiday. I will confirm the date and location in a seperate post once I have sorted it out. We are also going to Thenay and staying at our usual B&B up the road. Not sure which car we are taking- maybe both if I am feeling flush!
 
Happy New Year to the Flavell family. It's great to hear there's going to be another Kent meeting this year Becky, we always enjoy a trip to your part of the world, looking forward to seeing the details.
