Help wanted with mk 1 clio!

Greetings all. I'm in need of some assistance and hoping someone out there can help or point me in the right direction.

I am trying to obtain an idle control valve for my 1995 1.4 MK 1 clio. After speaking to Renault all I could retrieve was a part number for the throttle body but not the actual valve that connects to it. Apparently my engine code is very uncommon but it was shared with R19 also.

The part number for the throttle body is 7700869754, engine code is E7J 716, chassis B57B. I've tried part souq but they don't list either the valve or the throttle body. When going via car parts suppliers the information is conflicting and after trying several valves which were allegedly 'the right one' none worked.

Any help would be very gratefully appreciated!

Could you take a photo of your existing idle control valve? Are there any numbers on the valve itself?

Hi, unfortunately I can't as it kind of exploded. After messing around replacing the dizzy, and dizzy housing and it turned out the firing order in the manual was 1 step out it ended up blowing out the ICV, hence why I need a replacement. Problem is there are literally 100's of them that look identical but I'm guessing the plunger length and internal resistance on each one is different.
