Hi all
Have spent more time on this site than doing actual work on the car, which ran beautifully!
Unfortunately no temp light and I blew the head gasket.
Followed the sites reccomendation for removal and think I've left the liners unmoved.
Even found a gasket, although it seems to be 2 sheetrs of steel with some kind of fibre suff in between.
Gonna have to try it.
Fetching the head itself tomorrow after skimming and here we go.
Any do's or dont's?
Torque figures?
Tightening sequence?
Valve clearances?
