replacing engine with re-con using existing gear box where do I spilt gear box from engine to get the engine out? Or do I take all the gear box out with engine?

You can only remove the engine complete with gearbox, then split it when out of the vehicle (4 17mm AF nuts on top and 4 13mm AF bolts on the sump).

good morning angel :)
hi carlosvandango
no criticism intended but as an f6 van is 1108 not 845 there are slightly more than 8 bolts (and a pulley)to remove, to seperate the engine and gearbox
thats once you have figured out how to get it all out of the car first :)

good luck
paul

Oh yes I had always the 845cc in my mind...
Remove the camshaft pulley first in order to separate gearbox from engine...typical French engineering!
