Hi there,

I'm David from Germany.
I recently bought a 1985 Renault 4 F6 in restorable condition.
It has of course a lot of rust at the chassis, needs a lot of body work and a good amount of welding.
I'm still dismantling everything as there is no way around dividing the body from the chassis to get access to all the areas I have to fix.

I'm an absolutely newbie to the R4 world and I'm very happy that I finally found that website!
I'm sure I will poke around here from time to time to bother you experts with my stupid questions.
But I promise to use the search function before.

Welcome David, I hope you get lots of enjoyment restoring your R4 van. I have to say it dosen't look too bad. I especially like the chrome bumpers.
