Hello all, just became the new owner of a 1985 Fasa Renault 4F6, been looking a while at 4s and finally took the plunge last Thursday, 12 hr night train from A Coruna to Madrid, then drove it home some 470 miles after a a nights rest, sort or mid week adventure weekend.
Lucky to get it from the original owner, the van was his work transport to and from a garage he owned in the town he lives in just near Toledo, its done 83kkm from new, few little bodywork dings but rust free and mechancally spot on, ran like a dream on homeward journey, longest trip its ever had. The original owner retired in 2013, van sat in his garage until he recommisioned it and ITV’d it 4 months ago (brakes, fluids, battery etc).
I’m not new to driving older (some ancient) as dailys but new to Renault 4s so may need advice on the eccentricities encounterd driving most older things when they decide they want hands on attention.
Heres a few pics of the van11888F1D-0610-4929-8557-6EF47E6FAB0D.jpeg8F63B480-7A88-4086-8213-96346DD8395C.jpeg5D97A572-4130-426B-A593-3E4CDFEC972D.jpeg

Welcome to the forum. We love photos on here. More of your lucky acquisition please. (Cabo Fisterra, most beautiful location on Earth, especially so, this time of year)
