Does any one have a picture of how the renault 5 gtl y reg alternator is wire up, best would be a picture of the actual alternator it self.

and also can you tell me what thing is that is call connection.jpg is the first picture.

Also see my picture of how the alternator was wire up in this car and if it looks right.

Not sure if this will be of any help. It's a pic of the Renault 5 Mk1 Gordini alternator.

On the Renault 4 the two studs are different sizes which gives a big clue (the wires with the little holes in the connectors don't fit over the big studs), though I've not looked closely enough to see if the R5 is the same.

I've broken the forum - will try another post with a photo.
