Hi all, just wondering what peeps are paying for insurance in France.
1990 4 garaged, rural area, used maybe three times a year!! ie spring, summer winter visits...
Not getting any change out of 300 euros whether its 3rd pf&t or classic (needs valuation)
I have full ncb and I hold a RoSPA qualification as a PCV driver.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

I had car-insurance via Cornhill (Uk) on a stint in France years ago, cheap /no-quibble -they went above & beyond
when car got nicked and later found..-R

I pay 180 euro for my 86 van and 55 euro on carte gris collection ,which has to be over 30 years old, also no valuation up to 5000 euro, from M M A.

Hi Guys. My car insurance in France is 300 euros with Areas. That includes

Covers a Vehicle de Collection.
Return to house if breakdown
Roadside
My own advocate. This is interesting because a pal of mine was run into by a kid on a scooter who died. My pal spent the next 24 hours in a cell
and had a very difficult time getting representation looking after his side.

Very helpful. When Ronnie the Renault had capacitor failure, we were collected by taxi who took us to the airport while the car was collected and taken to our house.I know its a small thing to repair, but at the roadside in the dark and you don't have a spare, and you don't even know its that, I can only praise Areas for their service, and no increase when I renewed.
Inexpensive insurance is great until you need it.
