I'm just wondering if any of you 4L fans are thinking about a trip to the South of France in July to this great event. I went last year with Derek of Renospeed and his son Harry, we had a brilliant time, and were made very welcome by our hosts, who were impressed with the distance we had travelled to their event.
This year I am meeting up with harbourseal near Le Mans, and with our camping gear we are venturing south and doing some sight seeing on the way, and hopefully finding some good weather and quiet roads.
The event at Uzes near Montpellier is just two weeks before 4L International at Thenay, so we are all spoilt for choice. However, if any of you fancy exploring this beautiful part of France, or indeed you are lucky enough to live down that way, it's worth bearing in mind.
More details are available on the organisers page on Facebook or go to http://letempsjadis.fr
BTW, you have until May 15th to register.

Yes work is important David, those bills must be paid, but free time is very important too, and what better way is there than driving a Renault 4 to a car show in France, enjoying the French countryside, and testing the wine and cheese. Catch up with you at Thenay mon ami.
A bientot Brian.

Hi gang. I returned from my French odyssey yesterday, 2632 trouble free miles, and I'm happy to report that the 4 didn't miss a beat, used no oil or water, and took the whole trip in its stride. Here are a few photos I took at Uzes. Harbourseal and I had a great time as the guests of our French friends. Maybe one or two of you might venture there next year?........

The shot of the Renault Estafette breakdown and a Peugeot 403 is a perfectly quintessentially French! All it needed to finish it off were a few people sitting at a table smoking Gauloises & drinking some decent French wine! Thanks for that!
