Thought I'd start up a line of enquiry about...petrol tanks.I have a crack just at the juncture of tank and feed pipe which will not help my mot renewal in Jan. Are there ways this can be dealt with without taking the tank right out? I would welcome any advice out there.
Sorry - the tank has to come out, be drained and taken somwhere to be soldered or brazed up. Don't attempt to do it yourself unless you are 110% certain that all fuel vapour has dissipated.
