I took Marigold in for her mot today, and the old girl passed with flying colours, not even an advisory note, so feeling a bit chuffed:smile:
The nice mot man was impressed with the new stainless exhaust system that has just been fitted by Powerflow. I only called in there yesterday to see when they could do it and how much, the answer was now if you like and that will be.... So job done, I'm very pleased with it, not sure Marigold is going any better than before, she sounds better though, and an annoying droning noise at 45mph has gone. Plus of course it should last and last and......:D
The mot garage is right next door to renault4mads' workshop where pepper was visiting today while he is in oggyland. I missed him by 20 mins. Sorry not to say hi Richard.

coughcough...Boyracer...
only jealous Brian...sounded good when you left...a nice raspe to it..

**oh dear, i envy you...

mine is still in the garage, as i described you in my other reply.Still some confusion with rear brakes(having one new slave cylinder to put in, new internal for the other one, two new springs for, two more on his way from Franzöze, 4 new rear brake shoes also on his way...new carburettor wire coming, new hand brake wire (shorter/front) on his way...starter in doctors examine+brake drums to be turned-both back on friday 25th this month...new flashing relay purchased...it is lot of stuff not working after 22years no drive-but stored in cold garage the whole. All other should work?:(

Hi orsome, not to worry, you are getting there, and when it's all done you can enjoy the fruits of your labour. Rebuilding a car is never easy is it, but very rewarding:D
Andrew, yes exhaust sounds ok, all I need now is a Gordini engine on the end of it. Hobnobs delivery next week, ok me ansum

Nice to see you Andrew, always get a friendly welcome down in Kernow, don't you know!

I only didn't bring biscuits because I thought Brian would have already left some! After all he was "the" one getting trade MOT!

I spent a very nice evening in the Blue Seas Hotel Penzance, thoroughly recommended! I was even offered a ticket to the Rugby match that night by the ref of the game!

Glad you enjoyed your hotel Richard, you will always get a very friendly welcome in Cornwall me ansums, and they do dearly love their rugby down ere. Feeling a bit guilty now about the biscuits, hadn't realised they were part of the deal.
Was it a "trade" mot? thought it was a real one;)Actually the mot man was very thorough.:D
