Wow, look at the new Honda Civic!! It's everything the current one is not. It's cool in a 1980's type of way. The only Honda Civic I've seen that I've ever liked

I rather like the look of the new Civic. Seems the average age of a Civic owner is 58 and Honda want to reduce that a little.

I think they are mad. Everyone seems to want to compete for the same 30 something niche these days. Lets all make stylish looking cars. If I had been Honda I'd develop the niche they seem to have captured rather than forsake it to compete with everyone else.

I notice the type R is old hat. The new sports version will be a type RR.

Clementine's right that they should stick to their niche - they should include in the options list things like a bifocal windscreen, National Trust windscreen sticker, and a season ticket covering all car parks in the Bognor Regis / Eastborne area...

Has anyone else noticed that they've borrowed the door handles from an Alfa 156?
