I picked up a hitchhiker in France while driving Felicia back, took him all the way from Saint-Quentin to Maidstone, including an overnight stop, a ferry crossing and running out of fuel on the M20. Certainly livened up the trip!

It was nothing, as an occasional hitcher myself I like to pick up random people I find at the side of the road And both the hotel and ferry are charged per room/car so it seemed a shame not to share!
