Noisy wiper motor

Hi,

Driving in England I often find it rains! With this come s the irritating noise of the wiper motor. Is this common? Can it be easily fixed? If not does anybody have a spare motor for my GTL?

I have repaired ane of those noisy motors some time ago by finding that the bolts that held the motor together were loose. You cannot find what goes wrong without dismantling the wiper mechanism.
