oil consumption

greeting to everybody. i have renault 4 1992 1108ccm. is 0.7liter/1000km oil consumption ok?

Sorry Damir, I'm metrically challenged and still use pints and miles. Doing a rough conversion, it appears that you are using a pint of oil every 600 miles. This is too high.

My 4GTL at 153,000 miles used 3 pints maximum every 6000 miles.

Your oil consumption does seem a bit high - Steve's engine is more normal, but unless you have other problems such as excessive smoke, oily spark plugs, or failing your national car test then I wouldn't worry too much at the moment.
