On F4 No 1, an 845cc, I get start-up oil pressure of about 80psi.
On F4 No 2, with a Cleon 1108cc start up pressure is about 100psi.

Does anyone know if this is usual for these engines please?
Thanks

I think they are too high, provided your gauges read correctly. I can't recall the small engine's oil pressure, but factory fitted gauges on R5AT (Cleon engine) registered up to 6bars (88psi) and cold idle pressure was about 3-4 bars.

As angel stated, pressures are to high provided your gauges read correctly.
On the 680 and 800 engines, 1.2 bar (17.4 psi) at 500 rpm and 2.4-2.5 bar (36.25 psi) at 4000 rpm.
On the 688 Cleon-Fonte (Sierra) engines, 0.7 bar (10 psi) at stationary rpm and 3.5 bar (50 psi) at 4000 rpm.
