A new orange fabric for the early 4L trim

You are the happy owner of a 1’st generation “Luxe” Renault 4L ?
Is the interior of your car really getting worn out?

We are Gilles and Marie-Noël, a parisian couple, fans of 4L.
We decided to launch a new making of the orange / black checkered fabric, fitted to the seats of the Renault 4L (pivoting hatchback windows) between 1961 and 1963.
A few years ago a fabric for the Ile-de-France blue body color had been revived, but no one had yet been interested in the orange fabric matching the white, Esterel red, Olivier gray, to name only the colors the most known.
It will be done soon, we have been able to bring together for you
the skills of a textile expert, the know-how of a reliable weaver,
the upcoming supply of a high quality raw material.
And all this, ... for a very reasonable price (250 €) taking into account the complexity of the weaving thread and the delicacy of the work to be carried out.
(this price doesn’t include shipping cost or a fair 52 € subscription for the sharing of study cost).

By this fall at the latest, everything will be ready for delivery.

Hello everyone,

At we say in France, "during the heart of this truce for confectioners", in the wake of a grueling but necessary second confinement, we slowly came to the end of this great adventure of a careful remaking of an orange fabric well coveted by the sweet crazy of the Grannies-Trelles. Next Monday, January 4, we will be in the Doubs to discover this little gem, and we will bring you some pictures, some videos, why not.
In the meantime, we can say that the pattern will be respected in all respects, the shade as close as possible to the original color, but as we have repeatedly announced, of a more lively shine, "as if this fabric had been immersed in a rejuvenating bath dating back 60 years "!
We have been silent for 6 months, nothing specific, in particular to say, things having rushed for let's say the last two weeks, no kidding! But now it's good, we hold it boy, and it's a hell of a catch! 2020 will therefore not have generated that damn evil! No photos on this episode, trust my driving at night, I'm not going straight in the fog!

The 5m coupon is at the firm price of 275 €, but remind you have to add a participation subscription of 52 € to us, without any profit from our part, quite the contrary! In 2021, then, when we have let go to our commercial sponsor "Vehicules-Anciens" shop, , the price will increase drastically, because of course we are not traders and do not need to consider things with the inevitable taxes and other reasons of added value.
