Petrol tank replacement

I need to replace the petrol tank on my 1967 R4.
I see Franzose sells a replacement, claimed suitable for the R4L first series https://www.franzose.de/en/Renault/R4/Kraftstoffanlage-Zeboehoer/ANR80170/ (assumed mine included therefore...?) but following earlier threads on this forum I see comments that it's possible a few mods might be needed and it might not be as simple as a straight swap?
Any advice or experience?

The filler neck on this one is a small stub, so you have to cut your old one and weld or solder it on the right place. Assuming that your car has its original fuel tank, you can simply get the gauge sender unit and fit it on the new tank. I have never got one of these in my hands, so can't be precise about bolt hole aligning etc.

Thanks, I think I need to take a look at the tank filler in more detail.
