Are there any Renault 4 specialists in the north of England?

Sadly, none that I know of. Finding garages to look at old stuff is increasingly difficult.

Obviously there is Paul Cunningham, the best on all mechanical issues. But he is in Worthing.

If you are in Lancaster @michael760 then whilst they aren't R4 specialists, SAS Automotive in Sabden have done stuff on my van. They are very good, if also very expensive. Otherwise, a couple of people local to me have mentioned Kelbrook Classics in Kelbrook on the Lancashire / Yorkshire border as being good.
