For Sale:
One original (1985) used Zenith 28-IF-VO5.060 Carburettor which is being offered as spares for a total rebuild, or perhaps temporary use, since it does work!! - included are a new top cover as well as a couple of new gaskets.
See Photographs - it comes with an original Zenith Box!!
This carburettor was the one fitted on our, now sold, 1985 model R4GTL and has no casting faults, and I changed it because it kept icing up in winter (when temperatures here plummitted in the gales and snows afflicting NW Scotland.....)with its small original jet.
Whilst it was working when removed; it might benefit from a recondition by someone such as the
"Carburetter Exchange" , www.carbex.demon.co.uk (Tel/Fax: 01525 371369), whom I have used before to rebuild Solex carbs, and can recommend; or if you are a keen enthusiast - before you fit it.
It is absolutely not dog-eared, corroded or oxidised, has been stored in a cosy environment and I wouldn't list it unless I thought it would assist one of you, knowing that these are scarce now in UK and how much other sellers try to get for them when they are not as good as this one.....
I am offering it for just £5.00 plus postage and secure packaging to a UK address of £10.00. TOTAL £15.00.
