DMAX - Der Checker
"Der Checker" is quite a famous program over here on private TV.
Story is, that on every episode someone "applies" with the "Checker-Team" to have them find the perfect car for him or her.
The candidate has to provide some amount of money and define what "kind" of vehicle he/she's looking for.
(How much money or what kind of car he/she is looking for is absolutely up to the candidate.)
Checker (the bald-headed-guy) who is really funny by the way goes on a hunt for 3 different cars that all fits in the candidates profile.
From this shortlist of 3 cars the checker team then decides which one they will buy.
As an extra they mostly throw in some new wheels, some goodies, minor repairs or a thorough buffing.
There's always lot of negotiation between the different car sellers and Checker who really would make a fortune on some far east bazar.
What I (as someone who is into cars) don't like that much is that Checker pretends to have very much knowledge of cars (which in fact he doesn't).
At the end it's always the same like dipping a finger into the coolant reservoir, rubbing oil from the dipstick between 2 fingers and checking the body-part-alignments.
I saw this exactly episode and one could easily tell that he really has no clue of Renault 4s ...
But fun to watch anyway.
