EDIT: All sorted now thanks to the lovely people on this very forum!

Recently acquired a 1988 R5 Extra wheelchair van. It doesn't need very much, happily, I'm just a bit stuck on a couple of items and I hope someone out there can help. Second hand is fine, I'm located in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. I can't travel very far due to health reasons, unfortunately, so hopefully delivery or relatively local is possible.

If anyone can point me in the direction of any of the following, I'd appreciate that:
- Pair of door locks (or some way of getting a key cut to match the existing locks, if possible)
- Windscreen
- Pair of front window regulators
- Pair of front window winders

As far as I'm aware, the parts I'm after are exactly the same as standard R5 parts. I'm happy to be corrected if that's not the case so I can be sure of getting the right parts.

Window mechanism are same as 5 Dr Renault 5
I have bought them from Autodoc in Germany not sure if still listed
Be aware in Europe they are called express or rapid vans
Door lock barrels are slightly different between 3 and 5 Dr R5
Again should be available from Autodoc
Windscreen is bonded in so expert fitting needed. Be aware the metal work behind likes to rust and not safe to refit if corroded as screen will crack and Auto glass usually refuse after cutting old one out

Thanks for the tips there.

I assume the van uses the three door front doors and therefore locks.

The reason my screen has cracked is due to corrosion in the surround, I wanted to be sure I'd got a replacement screen before pulling out the cracked one to repair the rust. Hadn't realised it was bonded, fully expected it to be a put-it-in-with-a-string type given the age of the van so it's probably worth me pulling the screen, doing the welding, and just ordering a new one from Autoglass or similar so they can fit it for me.

Do you know if the window winder handles are the same spline for all R5s? I can get hold of the older style on eBay pretty easily, but mine looks to use the later smooth style rather than the blocky earlier style.

Front doors glass locks are all 5 Dr components
Front doors are shorter than 3 Dr and
Mégane 1 or Clio are what' the smooth handle type are found easily
Same splines
Got dozens here if you need them

I would be happy to relieve you of a pair of your window winder handles. The two pairs that came with the van all have stripped out splines so they're useless and I'm using a pair of mole grips for the driver's side at the moment which isn't ideal. If you're happy to post, please drop me a message with the price etc. and we'll sort it out.
