R5 heater problems...

Hello. With the temperature about to go sub-arctic, I realise I have a small problem. I run a 1994 R5 campus prima.

The problem is that the cabin heater will not blow warm air! There is water in the system, the top hose and other water pipes are hot to the touch and the water pump seems to be working fine. As far as i can tell all the components for lovely internal warmth are working, but the cab refuses to warm up. Any suggestions or ideas?

mines not that hot in this weather either not not a 5 before this one so not sure how good the system is

its going to be something simple i guess
either the hot cold heater control flap not working,
sticking thermostat,although the rad pipes would prob be colder
or a blocked up heater matrix

i guess maybe try feeling the pipes to the bulkhead that go into the heater matix
or try adding some decent radiator flush to the system and run it with that in for a couple of weeks and drain and refill the system

I'm already thinking blocked matrix, which is not easy to fix on a 5 when you don't have a ramp! I'll try some radflush first...

Thinking back to working on 5s, dash out to replace heater matrix...
