Rear bearing dust cover

I've removed the rear bearings, and in the process destroyed the dust cover between the inner bearing and backplate.

I have bought new bearings, but no dustcovers. Anyone know where I can buy them?

Hope you get an answer to this as I feel I might be in danger of doing the same. I have both rear wheel bearing bits that fit on the shaft stuck tight on the shaft, and I fear that if I have to butcher them off then the dust covers will also be butchered. I resolve to try heat and cold to remove them when I tackle the job, which won't be for a couple of months at least before I can return to France.

They are nearly impossible to get off without destroying them, yet I've not found a source for them. Though I haven't really looked. If you can get them off without kinking them too much they should straighten.

New ones don't come in the aftermarket bearing kits. Have you tried Renault on the off-chance they can supply them?

Hi hal7600,

Been away for the weekend, but many thanks for the info and the part number.

That's great!
Chris
