Anybody have tips on removing these brackets, and then fitting anew?

The main tip is get the new ones in exactly the same orientation and distance from the inner mountings. I got mine slightly wrong (only by about 2mm) and the rear axle was a pain to fit.

Next time I might weld a temporary positioner to the axle tube with a flat that lines up with the edge of the mounting and a hole that lines up with one of the holes.

Remove the old mounting using an angle grinder cutting disc to cut through the inner sleeve. Be careful as the sleeve only extends half way along the mounting - the rest is axle tume that you don't want to cut through. Look at the new mountings for an idea of where to cut.

The new mountings knock on with a big hammer and piece of wood. A little lubricant on the axle tube is a good idea. Don't knock them on too far as you can't adjust them once they are on.

Understood. On a seperate note did you ever get a response regarding new chassis from Colombia via 'Castorlex'?
