Wow!

Prices have been increasing over the last few years with an increase in interest from car enthusiasts and fewer cars available, but the difference in price between a good car and a bad one has never been enough to justify making one good.

Which seems crazy as it's easy to spend hundreds on a keeping a bad car going.

With luck things are changing. Which has to be a good thing for the future of the Renault 4.

I was gobsmacked to see the closing price. Shame he won't be able to drive it on the road as I believe that they don't allow any imported car made before 1975 to be driven. The bid below him was a UK one - he missed it by £100 - shame!

I'd understood the problem in the US was for cars less than 25 years old where they have to be US certified. Either way it's not looking good for the buyer.

Wonder if the UK bidder might be tempted by a nice yellow one.
