Hi folks,
this is driving me nuts: in my R4 the car stereo is mounted upright between the front seats in a kind of metal shell. It's a "Tamashi AR-118".
I thought if I removed the angular fasteners (you can see one on the cassette lid, they were screwed to the middle threaded hole you can see on the second picture and through the metal shell) I could simply pull the radio.
But it won't budge. The DIN pullers are too thick and to far apart.
Has someone encountered this system of mounting the radio in the car? I'd like to put in a decent Blaupunkt ...
