I am doing a conversion of a 5 speed box to a dashboard gear change so I need to remove this shaft, how do I do it? I was in a hurry and it was getting dark so I didn't see how to do it? Just pull it out?
There's a clip you can move along the shaft with pliers to expose a pin that is a loose fit and should fall out by itself (or a little push with some wire).
