Removing the door glass and seals

Hi I want to remove the door glass and seals to repaint the doors.
I was told they were held in by screws but I cannot find any.
I saw a post on this forum sugesting clips but I cant find the post again.(not my day for finding things)
Can anyone advise me how to tackle this job.
The car is an 84/85 GTL

Look under the rubber seal on the inside and you should see 3 or 4 clips which can be slid off using a screwdriver. Then the top of the window should push out. Lift to release the bottom.

The '84 GTL frames are plastic and held on the door by the window channels (combination of rubber seal and window channel).
You simply remove them as you would do for a windscreen, by pushing the lip of the rubber seal from the inside to the outside a little at a time.
