In looking for a GTL gearbox. I see a few gearboxes advertised as simply R4 and often the seller has no idea which engine it was attached to. Is it safe to assume that if the gearbox has the bell housing attached that it is from a Cleon engine? and will suit the 688E7/13 engine? Thanks George

Yes, anything having a bellhousing is for the Cleon engine (right hand turning). However you may end up with a less than perfect final drive ratio if you don't pay attention to the 3 digit suffix.

Hi Angel, thanks for confirming, which three digits should I be looking for or if I am sure it is a GTL box, will that be okay.?

The HA0 146 will be the box of your choice like @Andy McGhee mentioned.
There should an aluminum label attached to it.
