I’m pretty sure I’m going to regret this but…I’m listing my Malibu.
I’m starting on here, as this forum has been very helpful in caring for my car, and I’d like to think of it going to an enthusiast. We’re still playing cricket so maybe some roof off sunshine still a possibility!
I’ve owned “Dartagnan” since 2021. Purchased from Simon Pocklington of Renault Reborn in Lincolnshire, although he’s now retired and his website is no longer active. I believe his Instagram is still there and the Malibu is featured. He restored it during lockdown and I was fortunate to get it when things opened up.
Been MOT’d every year since as used for grandchildren transport, amongst other duties. Very useful for picking up stuff, dump runs and the Majestic Christmas outing.
MOT’d until April 2026 and in my ownership has had the usual consumables, points, plugs, distributor cap, coil, capacitor and battery as required. I’ve added some “kick plates” and door slam reinforcement. The hood has had replacement plexiglass. Forum assistance enabled the wing mirror to be repaired. It’s not currently on so not showing in the most recent pictures, but is present. Mileage is showing as 99600 and something and I’m still using it.
