Can't help with feeler guage sizes but the procedure is called the rule of 9. For instance, if you number them from right to left as you look at them there will be a total of 8 valves, 4 inlet and 4 exhaust but for this procedure it doesnt matter which is which except for the feeler guage settings. When number 1 valve is fully open (down) you can set number 8, 1+8=9. Likewise when number 6 is open then set number 3, 6+3=9 and so on till you have done them all. I dont know about the Renault 5 but some have different feeler guage settings hot or cold.
