RN 11/14/17/86 etc.What are they????

Hi gang! Anyone know what these RN-numbers concerning exhaust-parts Relate to?
there seems to be LOT of them (RN11/14/17/86/88/91/167 are just some I've found..and I can't find any explanation in the parts-manual
So-Anyone have a clue? If you sit on the relevant chart/list or whatever, I for one would find it very helpful as I think exhaust-
listings are a Mess! -R.

I Always thought that was the Timax part numbers?
thats what they are listed in the timax catalogs

Hi there 4mad in lovely Penzance! what the heck is the Timax? these numbers are stamped On the part and also in the orig.pt catalog but with no info as to what they mean???? -R.

I've just had a moment of clarity. I seem to remember my Walker exhaust system has similar codes on it. RN is Renault and the number indicates where the item belongs in relation to the engine. The higher the number the further away from the manifold it's located on the car.
