In the restored quatrelle I have a hard plastic headlining but in the GTL its a material vinyl I have dealt with these before but a long while ago are they easy enough to remove and replace on the 4?
As a Citroen fan too I like the 2cv fold back roof, has anyone tried this on the quatrelle. It would mean welding the top half of the rear door to make a continuation of the roof down the back to a smaller lift up boot lid. then to creating a channel rain gully
Just a thought:eek:

The hard plastic headlining is rather fiddly to remove, you should lever it from the sides while taking care not to scratch the paint...

I have never thought, nor seen, a 2CV-style sunroof on a R4. I think it would look ugly because the roof will necessary be flat (unlike the typical R4 rounded corners). Moreover, you lose the very practical tailgate.
Why don't you try to fit an original suroof (or duplicate one)? It is equally pleasant to a 2CV one!
