Seal body to chasis

Hello all
Its been a long time since posting on this site, my renault 4 restoration that was supposed to be for my wifes 50th birthday has over run somewhat as its proved to be a much bigger task than expected. So here I am 7 years later, one operation on my wrist and currently furloughed. Well at least some time to get on with my project. So far the chasis is complete and most of the bodywork has been repaired all apart from rear underside boot support that is my next task. However, I just want to ask what you all use to seal the body to the chasis. Would Denso strip be the right thing to use? Any help or advice appreciated.

Teroson Terostat V11 round sealing strip is roughly equivalent to the original material and has worked very well for me,
