What are your tipical dishes for Christmas evening?
Here in central Italy, near Rome, we use to fry almost everything in batter, but above all cod is very traditional...

Hi Azazello, I don't think there is a typical meal for Christmas day evening, as most of us are recovering from a rather large lunch, usually of goose or turkey with all the trimmings ( veg, potatoes etc ) plus Christmas pudding, and plenty of alcohol to wash it down. Falling asleep in front of the television is also traditional over here.

I'll second cornish4, we do tend to have our meal at lunchtime, eat loads then fall asleep for the Queens speech.

This year we had ours at 7 in the evening, due to one of our daughters having to work the whole day.
