Sinpar 4x4

you thinking of importing to Australia?

and there is a RHD R4 Sinpar down in Weymouth in army colours, no idea if its still there thou,
Wasn't that the one featured in the article on the 4L in Classic and Sportscar magazine last year that some of our forum member's cars were also in?

all i know is that he has a early pale blue R4 parked where i used to see the army one last time i passed. Don't go down to Weymouth that much, often on the motorbike, and chasing or being chased by my mates as we hit the brakes for the camera that sits after that bend.

This one?

yea, but when i saw it face to face, no rear sits because of the dogs and the spare was attached to the inside of the boot lid,

but a memory of shooting past it being chased by my yorkshire lassy mate does remember a tyre on the bonnet.

but if its still there, i do not have a clue,

it was once his daughters and it was purple as well =/

how much would you say its worth since the ad says
Price: make offer

In my humble opinion

IF it is a real Sinpar and is complete with all the correct paperwork and plates, and runs, it has to be worth 2000 euros minimum

With CT and a chance of being used straight away without major work ,2500 - 3000 euros plus

Perfect ones are selling for 4-5k (and asking more)

I would offer 1500 and start from there !

If there is a question about the provenance, half the above

ALL OF THE ABOVE IS MY OPINION !!

Thanks Simon!
I shall investigate...does mention that it has a problem with the master cylinder and something about rust in the frame...(but maybe repaired?). Looks good 'tho, especially being a van. Still also chasing one of the leads you gave me down near Lyon, but the guy is completely unhelpful and I asked a mechanic to look at it and he wouldn't even give me a quote...just said no! Bit frustrating when I'm 17000Kms away....
I'll see how helpful this fellow is.
Cheers and thanks again.

Sinpar

If you wish, I could phone him and ask a couple of pertinent questions and get some more photos sent (and then forward to you)

Let me know
Simon
