Speedo cable

Hi all
Has anyone got a spare GTL/F6 speedo cable? It's the type you push on and twist, rather than the screw-on type.

As far as I'm aware these are NLS from Renault and after looking in my speedo cable books can't find anything for the 4 or 5 mk1. Mr Reno suggested trying a Renault Master cable as all Renaults use the same fittings, but the only Master cable I've got listed is too short.

The other option as I've done is to get a new one made. Cost was around £35 from Speedy cables in Ystradgynlais, near Swansea.

i actually sugessted renault trafic van 1980-1999 have just used my last one on an espace as renault want £60 new for espace
both the above vehicles may appear in your local scrap yard and are plenty long enough !!!
but be careful removing speedo end as get very brittle this time of year
r18 fuego and 2litre 21 also fit but even rarer than R4s now

Thanks for the excellent advice. Have just got a nearly new cable from a Trafic at the local yard!
