When I came out of the shopping centre, I found this R4 parked very close to mine. It's local, judging by the number plate, but I've never seen it before.
It's in perfect condition and probably recently been restored. I really like the chrome bumpers and hubcaps.

Just happened to see this car again today and had a look at the front of the car. The front bumper is completely rusty and has hardly any chrome left on it. The owner said that the back bumper was original but the front was replaced about 6 months ago.
The quality was shocking! Very "tinny"-I could probably bend it with my hands.!

new chromed bumpers are notoriusly real bad and not worth the money, even orig.FASA Spanish ones are crap! Italian-made ones sold on eBay likeso.
both Franzose and Melun is open about it and tells you the ones they sell are not good!
I've got a contact that has 10-12 NOS orig.Renault F.ones,still in paperwrapping,but sadly none abs.100% most 90-95% due to long storage and not
being oiled for 30 yr's..

Anyone in Croatia(!) or neighbouring countries that can check around and recommend place to get Proper chrome done?? I have this huge roof-rack
(full lenght)that fits our F4 plus I have a wet dream of having it chromed.. Now it looks just plain ugly,and also I think the Rffmobile will be faster too
if roof rack is chromed-Right? -Reid.

to my knowledge there is no proper "chrome" covering manufacturer!

People were mentioned some firm in Slovenia near Ljubljana but do not know name or number.

I will ask "few people" and get back to you with right information!
Just be patient, it could take a while
