where have the rear door handles gone and who painted the back windows yellow :eek:

Of course we've missed you.

I've spotted the seller on German eBay. He seems to have a lot of cars for sale, and I've noticed the Germanic looking lady is more daringly dressed with each advert. She's increasingly going for short leather numbers.

I don't think the rear quarter-lights are painted yellow, there just aren't any, like on the short-lived R3 model from the early sixties. I think I've seen this on one other later model: a breakdown car.

There were some GTLs without rear windows over here but they were service cars for Gorenje. There is one driving around in Doboj, I'll take a picture...

Think its a La Poste version, although she doesn't look like any postlady round here!!!!!!

The rear quarter glasses were absent on Belgian-built R4s (on 2CVs over there,too). As far as I remember the reason was related to their tax system. I have never seen rear doors without outer handles, though!

It looks like an english registration number on that car too. But wrong colour plates for the year.

Pepper you need to look at mr-reno-139's photo not Ian's, in which the registation number is remarkably similar to Ermintrude's!
