Just seen a picture of a tailgate that’s bottom hinged and the top glass slides down into the tailgate , was this a option or a aftermarket accessory ?

The R4 Super (type R1122) introduced in march 1962 and it's successor the R4 Super (type R1124).
They are only produced from 1962 'till 1963 and are Super rare. Finding a 'good' barnfind would be magic and occasionaly they do but always need a lot of restoring.
