The right colour?

Ignorant question, but now its time to at least contemplate selecting a colour from the delectable palate, how do I translate the number to a tin?

Do I need to order the 'number' from Renault or will any local supplier be able to tie the colour to a tin of paint?

I bookmarked this a while ago which lets you enter the keywords, e.g. "renault 451" and gives you a formula for mixing - in case your local supplier is at a loss.
