Young 'Michael' and June
Michael, you are really kind to mention me yet again on this 'great car' site but really it is you that needs a mention - You are already a 'superstar' in my eyes even at your tender age in my opinion and as luck would have it, dear June is also a 'superstar' albeit a rather older one!
I have this evening checked out with my friend Nick if I could buy his DS21 project for you but sadly he has already sold it, so my second option was to buy you his Traction Avant but he wants too much for your and my humble pocket but I will keep looking...
In case anyone wonders what all this is about, Michael and his Nan June spent last week with us here in the sunny Vendee and when Michael heard that the cam belt on my BX had broken he very kindly found time in his 'holiday week' to take it all apart and is sorting it out - he like Malcolm, always takes a huge selection of tools with him in his boot...just in case'!!
