Just thought i'd show you this, had a few trees down around here so been out collecting some
ready for burning and next year as well, it's surprising how much you can get in them, made seven
trips in all, i'll be glad when i've finished the F6.

Blimey - what a load! I use my 1981 Quatrelle for wood collecting at the lakes - where we live in Portugal. There is always plenty of fallen wood to collect at any time of the year and we run a wood burner with a back burner, which heats the water and runs 4 radiators. Apart from petrol for a 10 minute run up to the lakes - it costs us absolutely zilch. Smooth! Could do with a F4 van myself - but they are as rare as rocking horse s**t in Portugal - and cost a packet to boot. Keep up the good work fellow woodburner owner.

Yes i want to get the F6 finished as soon as i can but other things keep cropping up, our wood burner just heats the room but i wish
i'd bought one with a back boiler now as it gives off so much heat it would have been good to heat the water as well, i did think
about changing it, maybe before next winter.

My wood burner heats the hot water and nine radiators

It's sitting here on full bore warming our house up after we didn't have it on for 3 days.

That's brilliant Pepper i should have done that last year when i put ours in, seriously considering it for this year.

Brilliant, just what a 4l is supposed to be doing in the winter time.

well done daviddb it certainly keeps the home fires burning,
it's raining here today as well Tripyrenees but at least i can cut the wood up in the shed where it's dry.
