Tyre Pressures

Hi All

Can someone tell me the recommended tyre pressures for standard fit on 1984 GTL?

I don't have a handbook and not in Haynes.

I prefer them a little higher pressure than the manual suggests - I think tyre technology has altered since they wrote the specs. To me 20psi feels under inflated - about 28psi all round (1.9 bar) suits me for a GTL.

PS Saw a light blue/silver or grey R4 at a distance in the dusk light this evening driving from Croydon area (Addington Road) towards Hayes/Bromley. Wonder if its one of ours? First R4 I've spotted for years... Typical . You buy a car and then keep noticing similar ones!

I drive my GTL with 1,5 in the front and 1,8 in the back. I don't like to inflate it above factory settings because then you feel every bump on the road.
