Van in the background - Megane Ad

Anyone any idea what type of van it is in the background of the new Megane ad on TV, we saw a model at a vide grenier this afternoon that looked similar - a DKW L89 I think it was.

It doesn't look like the '60s Renault vans - they were all more cab forward. Renault coloured wheels though.

Had a bit of a smurf round t'internet last night and its definitely a DKW, not sure of the model number though. Apparently the engine put out all of 20hp, must have made an Estafette seem positively sprightly!

Well identified.

I like the way they use the older Renaults rather than just any old car - with the 16 and Dauphine in there. Maybe they were short of Estafettes. Are any of the older cars Renaults? My attention span stops at about 1955.

In 3 years I've never seen milk in a glass bottle here, only plastic, mind you I only drink it in instant coffee!

I've had looks like that with my Renault 9. And I recall a mechanic being asked whether he had a drivers license for the Renault 4. The french version seems longer somehow.(At www dot Renault dot tv)
