T timinder Enthusiast Messages 45 Mar 12, 2007 #2 Not on its own, you'll need to increase the amount of fuel that goes into the engine as well, otherwise it will run too lean and tend to overheat. (there's a LOT more to it than that, but I thought a simple NO was a bit too short an answer!)

(Welcome timinder.) It is possible to get another 10bhp by fitting a carburettor and inlet manifold from a Mk 1 Renault 5.
